1940's era Salvaged Canvas Patchwork Carryall

Durable, worn in canvas salvaged from a variety of 1940's era materials - mattress ticking, USN denim, gain sacks, work aprons - has been carefully pieced together and re-worked into a versatile every day carryall.

Any discoloration of the fabric is the result of natural wear and aging. The unique and storied textiles used in this bag are over 70 years old.

Fully lined with beige cotton canvas, this bag features a large interior pocket (9" x 11") that will comfortably hold a wallet and phone, toiletries, notebook etc. Leather boot, handles and buckle straps are made from beautiful, top grain cow hide. This leather is tough enough to last a life time, but soft and supple enough for comfort.

Metal feet on the base of the bag are great for wear and tear protection when traveling while a water resistant fiberboard interior bottom panel and a lightweight aluminum frame help to retain the bag's shape while on the go.

Features an adjustable, removable leather shoulder strap with durable metal hardware.

Bag measures approximately - 17" wide, 13" tall, 7" deep.

Much time and care is put into making every Forestbound Original one of a kind. Proudly made in the USA.
