Meet our Petite Leather Dock Bag. This classic every day bag was inspired by a handmade piece we uncovered at an estate sale and is meant to be a timeless accessory that pairs well with every occasion.

A perfect size for carrying your every day essentials but don't be fooled - this little bag can actually hold quite a lot! We like to stuff it full of books or vegetables at the farmers market and are always shocked how much can truly fit in there. 

Measures approximately 9" wide, 8.5" tall, 6" deep with a strap drop of 4.5". 

Natural vegetable tanned leather is untreated and will age beautifully as you start to use it. Veg tan leather patinas with time and exposure to the sun - it starts as a pale pink but will eventually turn into a gorgeous light honey brown color. The Petite Dock Bag shown here was used for approximately 2 weeks. The bag you receive will be more of a pale pink but as you see, it quickly starts to patina once you begin using it.

Veg tan leather is coveted by many because it wears in differently for each person, is a reflection of how they move through the world, and truly becomes a one of a kind piece. 

Our personal recommendation is to use your bag for a few weeks before you condition it for the first time since a few weeks of wear will show some subtle aging. However, if you strongly prefer a bag that is completely free of any marks or scuffs we recommend conditioning before use. 

Leather conditioner will protect the bag from stains, water damage, and will keep the leather supple. 

My personal favorite leather conditioner is all natural with a beeswax base and is made by Christophe Pourny Studio in New York.
