1940's era Linen & Cotton Carryall - SOLD

Durable, worn-in linen salvaged from a 1940's era German postal sack has been paired with a 1950's era cotton work apron and turned into a perfect everyday carryall.

The material used to construct this bag is over 70 years old but still in the most wonderful condition. Printing from the original cotton has been incorporated into this tote to highlight the unique nature of the material. Any discoloration of the fabric is the result of many years of natural wear and aging.

Fully lined with light olive colored cotton, this large carryall can easily hold everything you need during the day or for a weekend away. Two good-sized outside pockets as well as three interior pockets can comfortably fit a wallet, ipod, phone, etc.

Handles and bottom reinforcement made from 5oz, oil-tanned brown cowhide.

Measures approximately 19in wide, 15 in tall, 6 in deep.

Much time and care is put into making every Forestbound bag one of a kind.
