WWII era Canvas Weekend Bag

Durable, worn-in canvas salvaged from a WWII era US military duffel bag has been turned into a roomy, zip-top weekend bag.

The material used to construct this bag is over 60 years old but still in the most wonderful condition. Printing from the original canvas has been incorporated into this tote to highlight the unique nature of the material. Any discoloration of the fabric is the result of many years of natural wear and aging.

Fully lined with olive colored cotton, this large ziptop carryall can easily hold everything you need during the day or for a weekend away. Three good-sized interior pockets as well as one outer pocket can comfortably fit a wallet, ipod, phone, etc.

Bag measures approximately 18.5in wide, 14 in tall, 5 in deep.

Wrap around black leather handles made from 4oz oil tanned cowhide.

Adjustable, removable shoulder strap made from recycled military issue cotton webbing and sturdy brass hardware.

Much time and care is put into making every Forestbound bag one of a kind.
