Durable, worn-in denim salvaged from a WWII era US Navy barracks bag has been paired with brown cowhide and turned into a perfect weekend bag.
The material used to construct this bag is over 70 years old but still in the most wonderful condition. Printing and stitching from the original denim has been incorporated into this tote to highlight the unique nature of the material. Any discoloration of the fabric is the result of many years of natural wear and aging.
Fully lined with olive colored cotton, this large carryall can easily hold everything you need during the day or for a weekend away. Two good-sized inside pockets can comfortably fit a wallet, ipod, phone, etc.
Handles made from WWII era cotton webbing and detailed with brown cowhide.
Buckle closures & an adjustable, removable shoulder strap made from brown cowhide & brass hardware.
Measures approximately 18in wide, 16.5in tall, 6in deep.
Much time and care is put into making every Forestbound bag one of a kind.
